Today Jennifer and I went to a park in Sacramento. The weather was fantastic, and I had one goal in mind: Take photos in black and white. I'm an amateur in photography, so by no means are these pictures perfect, but we had a grand ol' time. Just take a look!
The first thing that caught my eye was this adorable dog. I couldn't stop myself from taking pictures of him/her. His/her owner asked me if I was going to put the photos up on Myspace...to which I replied, "blogs are for dogs!"
We then moseyed over to the baby play structure and took some really fun shots.
Look at Jen and her cute fedora hat!
Next stop, the swings!
Wee! And since I loved Jen's hat so much, I tried it on too!
Before we left, I was able to take a picture of the teeny, tiny moon.
Goodnight moon.

Study Break
Who knew memorizing terms of the human anatomy would be so excruciating? It was about 4 p.m. when I decided I needed some fresh air. I grabbed my camera and wandered around my neighborhood to take some photos.
One of my neighbors has a beautiful birdhouse perched on one of his tree branches.

If you didn't already know, I am sort of obsessed with birds and birdhouses. I would post my other birdhouse photographs, but it might ruin the moment.
At the end of the block I saw some sprinklers going off. Since I wasn't able to get photographs of the rainbow last week after the rain, I decided this was my chance.
Where is that pot of gold?
During my excursion, I wondered where all the animals were. No dogs or cats? This couldn't be! I began to get discouraged, until I spotted an adorable furry friend.
It was quite obvious this little fellow wanted to follow me home, except he was tied to a leash. So, I waved goodbye and went on my way.
What I love about springtime is that flowers are starting to bloom again.
Can you smell the sweetness already?
What a fun 30 minute adventure. Here's a tip for you all. If you are feeling the life being sucked out of you from homework and studying, take a break and go outside. You never know what surprises you'll find just around the corner.
